Parcel: lots 234-242 Tasting note: one of eight great wines presented by former Decanter Magazine's Men and Women of the year at a tasting in honour of Jancis Robinson at the opening of VINOPOLIS in July 1999. The '77 Musar had a warm mature odour, a surprisingly Bordeaux-like mose, and, on the palate, deliciously sweet - as red wine goes - assertive, with excellent acidity and a long, life-preserving tannic finish. Similar note when last tasted, December 1999. (MB)
