A French patinated spelter figural mounted vase, late 19th or early 20th century
After a model by Auguste Moreau, of baluster form, the crimped rim above the tapering neck descending to the shoulder, with a figure of a girl cast in high relief modelled wearing a kerchief, blouse and skirts and holding a fishing rod, the body of the vase with relief cast scaly fish in water, inscribed to the reverse Aug Moreau -- 15¼in. (38.75cm.) high
