THREE MITANNIAN CYLINDER SEALS
Circa 1450-1300 B.C.
Two of hematite, one engraved with a winged demon above a lion, a winged lion to the left, a goat to the right, with a rhomb, a hand, a fish, and an animal in the field, line border above and below, 20.5 x 9mm.; and one engraved with a standing figure in ascending position to the left, drilled holes in the field, a line border below, 18.8 x 10mm.; and one of white marble engraved with a scorpion, two winged figures, a fish, and a fish-monster, 13.3 x 10.5mm.
