A Charles II small tankard,
of tapering cylindrical form with an s-scroll handle, a large volute thumbpiece and a flattened domed cover with a broad brim, engraved on the front of the body with a coat of arms within plumed mantling, maker's mark GD and mullet in a heart-shaped shield*, probably for George Day, circa 1664, (date letter rubbed) - 10.75cm high, 10oz.
