TWO BRASS-INLAID WROUGHT IRON UTENSILS
PENNSYLVANIA, EARLY 19TH CENTURY
The first a flesh fork with hooked terminus, rectangular punch, swage and brass inlay decorated handle above sloping, flat rectangular shoulders, terminating in two tines; the second a ladle with hooked terminus above a flat tapering rectangular handle inlaid with brass banding, and engraved with foliage and initials "I.B. R.B." above a cylindrical shaft terminating in a round copper bowl--19½in. length the largest (2)
