A BLACK-PAINTED SACK-BACK WINDSOR ARMCHAIR
LANCASTER COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA, LATE 18TH-EARLY 19TH CENTURY

The arched crestrail above seven turned-cylindrical spindles over eleven turned-cylindrical spindles flanked by scrolled knuckled grips above baluster and ring-turned supports over a pommeled D-shaped seat on four splayed ring and baluster-turned legs with blunt-arrow front feet joined by ring and baluster-turned H-stretchers--36in. high, 24in. wide, 17½in. deep
