Portrait of a man, atributed to Mu'in Mussawir,
gouache heightened with gold on paper, the bearded man, possibly a dervish wears a hat and cloak and holds prayer beads in his left hand, inscribed at upper right, 'shabih mir abu al-qasim .....' dated AH 105?/1640-1649 AD, a lower inscription dated 29 Ramadan AH 1105/1693 AD, miniature within applied inscription and illuminated borders, on blue leaf, framed and glazed, (some flaking, rubbing, spotting and general wear) - leaf 36 x 23.5cm., miniature 14.8 x 6.2cm.
