A Nishapur deep bowl
with short foot and upright rim, painted in yellow, brown and cream with a large stylised bird to the interior on a foliate ground, the exterior with a border of stylised calligraphy and floral roundels -- 8¾in. (22.2cms) diam, 10th/12th century, (restored).
