AMERICAN, POSSIBLY 19TH CENTURY

Comprising three small square cushions, the first worked in red, green, taupe, brown, blue and yellow wool threads, centering the word, "Pins"; the second worked in red wool on a coarsely woven linen ground and centering a small floral group; the third worked in red, pink and taupe wool and centering an eight-pointed star; together with two large pieced and spherical Amish pin cushions, the first red and gold with ribbon decoration, the second red, with button decoration--6in. square the largest (5)
