Parcel: lots 112-113, 114-115 Tasting note: Very deep opaque, inky colour. Still youthful with a viscous texture. The nose charged with intense cherry and blackcurrant, very ripe and forward. Layered with some sweet vanilla and spicy cedar. Robust on the palate with plenty of dry tannins lending some austerity to what is a massive, warm and super-ripe modern classic. Assertive, powerful and four square; excellent with steak ! Will go on improving yet. (T.Hudson)
