RARE RIOJA FROM MARQUES DE MURRIETA AND MARQUES DE RISCAL
MARQUES DE MURRIETA, BLANCO
The white wines of Murrieta are well-known for their rich, nutty flavour, balanced by vivid fruit and acidity, (the result of 5 hours pressing in a vertical wooden press, and the years spent in old American oak). The reservas are classic old style white riojas. The white Castillo Ygay is only made in exceptional vintages. They are aged slowly in old American oak to produce a concentrated, bitter sweet style that has great length and complexity, they also age beautifully.
