A GROUP OF GEORGIAN SILVER SALTS AND A PAIR OF SHELL DISHES
Various makers and dates
Comprising a pair of trencher salts, maker's mark of David Hennell I, London, 1746, oblong on spreading base, two similar salt cellars, mid-18th century, each circular raised on three trefid feet, and a capstan trencher salt, marks rubbed, possibly London 1698; together with two similar shell dishes, 18th century, later engraved with matching initials.
The capstan salt, 2½in. (6cm.) high; total weight 12oz. (7)
