AN ASSEMBLED GEORGE II SILVER SOUP TUREEN
The base, London 1737, maker's mark partially rubbed, probably Edward Feline; the Cover, maker's mark of George Wickes, London 1737
The oval bombe base engraved with a crest at one side, raised on four short leafy scroll feet with leaves at the knees, with upper gadrooned border and loop handles at either side; the conforming domed cover, engraved with similar crest, surmounted by foliate loop handle; together with a fitted French silver liner, Paris, late 18th century.
