A GEORGE III SILVER KETTLE-ON-STAND**
Maker's mark of John Wakelin and William Taylor, London, 1791
The tapering cylindrical kettle with straight spout, engraved on one side with a coat-of-arms, with fixed leather-covered overhead handle, the detachable cover with ivory finial; the circular stand on three reeded paw supports with spirit lamp in the center, marked on the kettle, and lamp, the stand marked but rubbed.
