A VICTORIAN SILVER ENTREE DISH ON SILVER-PLATED STAND, AND AN ENGLISH SILVER KETTLE-ON-STAND
The first, maker's mark of Elkington & Co., Birmingham, 1852; the latter, Maker's mark of Carrington & Co., London 1925
The shallow oval entree dish and cover with beaded borders and with wood finial; the conforming silver-plated stand, also by Elkington & Co., raised on four tall beaded supports with paw feet; the kettle-on-stand, oval with a band of engraving at the top and on the cover having fixed overhead wood handle; with tall stand raised on four pad feet, both pieces lacking burners
