Lot Essay

Chips Moman was given this guitar by Eileen Berns, the widow of producer and songwriter Bert Berns. Berns used this instrument as his writing guitar, during a career which saw him compose or co-write hits like Hang On Sloopy, Twist And Shout, and Here Comes The Night. He also produced early successes for artists like Van Morrison, Neil Diamond and Lulu.
