Feeding the poor

This is here proposed as an autograph replica of the picture in the Nationalmuseum, Stockholm (K. Goossens, David Vinckboons, 1954, p.101, fig.53 and p.142) of which other versions are extended, among which are those in the museums at Copenhagen and Prague. Goossens, op.cit., p.101, dates the Stockholm prototype circa 1610. The numerous existant versions and copies testify to the compositor's popularity.
