Lot Essay

An attribution to Hendrik Jacobsz. Dubbels (1621-1707) might be considered, as there is some similarity with seascapes of circa 1650/5, in the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam (U. Middendorf, Hendrik Jacobsz. Dubbels, 1989, no.54, fig.Ft6).
