A PAIR OF GEORGE III SILVER THREE-LIGHT CANDELABRA
The candlesticks maker's mark of Richard Cooke, London, 1804; the branches John Roberts & Co., Sheffield, 1813
Each on circular base chased with gadrooning, rising to a tapering part-fluted columnar stem, surmounted by a part-fluted urn-form socket, the branches with two reeded scrolling arms supporting circular gadrooned wax-pans with detachable urn-form sockets and similar nozzles, the part-fluted baluster form central standard surmounted by a similar socket and nozzle, the base engraved with a crest, the nozzles engraved with a different crest, marked on bases, branches, sockets and nozzles
