Each shaped circular with gadrooned rim, the border engraved with a crest and motto and with another crest within garter motto surmounted by a Baron's coronet, marked on reverses, five also with scratchweight

Lot Essay

The crests are those of Maxwell, probably for the Barons Herries of Terregles.
