The Omega Workshops advertised lamps in their catalogues and described them as 'Lamp standards for electric light, in painted wood and marqueterie...in great variety...Special designs to order' (Omega Workshops Ltd. Artist Decorators, London, 1915). Omega Workshops artists remember the lamps having been manufactured in at least two different sizes and each lamp was unique in appearance and was generally painted in four or five different colours.
