MANUFACTURED BY FONTANA ARTE, CIRCA 1930

In 1933, Gio Ponti and Luigi Fontana founded Fontana Arte, which incorporated the design firm of Pietro Chiesa, in Milan. Chiesa, who served as artistic director of Fontana Arte became renowned for his innovative applications of glass and production of glass and wood furniture.
