Lot Essay

This model is thought to be unique and was that designed for Mme. Jeanne Tachard at her house La-Celle-Saint-Cloud.
The design for this flatware was sold as part of the Robin Symes Collection, Sotheby's New York, 6 May 1989, Lot 44.
The goldsmith Robert Linzeler was responsible for the table knives and the fruit service, while Puiforcat made the small knives and the rest of the service.
