A FLEMISH IVORY-INLAID, EBONY AND TORTOISESHELL COLLECTORS' CABINET-ON-STAND
Late 17th Century, the stand 19th Century
The upper section with nine ripple-moulded drawers, the lower left drawer similated as two, arranged around a central ripple-moulded door, each inlaid with chequer-banding and scrolling foliage inlaid with scagliola with pearl lozenges surrounding the key hole, the reverse of the door veneered with kingwood and enclosing three further conforming drawers, on a panelled stand with open silk-lined central recess, on a platform plinth, the later locks stamped 'BARRONS PATENT', losses and replacements to veneers
47 in. (119.5 cm.) high; 32¼ in. (82 cm.) wide; 15¾ in. (40 cm.) deep
