A PAIR OF NEAPOLITAN WHITE-PAINTED AND PARCEL-GILT SIDE TABLES
Late 18th Century
Each with a grey-veined white marble top with concave-cut front corners, above a foliate and ribbon-carved frieze, on square tapering fluted legs headed by stiff-leaf capitals and paterae, one with indistinct white paint inscription and Geneva depository label typed 'CHENEVIERE', the other with remains of depository label, losses to the mouldings at the top of the legs, one marble top inscribed in pencil 'Clm Kantzler', minor differences in construction
