The first, designed as a reverse rock crystal depicting a horse to the bar terminals; and the second, designed as twin oval panels inlaid with an enamel horses head to the oval-link intersection, mounted in 18K gold, both with presentation boxes and outer packagings, the second pair with English assay marks

Lot Essay

D&F is the hallmark for Deakin & Francis. The family-run company which is based in England has been operating for the last century and is specialized in cuff-links. Derek Anastasia, Enamel Advisor of the National Cufflink Society and The American Society of Jewelry Historians, states, "They are considered the finest contemporay enamel cuff-links made in the world".
