Cal. 45, with later added Quality 1A fully jewelled gilt-finished three quarter plate lever movement, screwed gold chatons, blued screws, bimetallic compensation balance with gold screws, gold lever and escape wheel, swan neck regulator, diamond endstone, gold cuvette, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds, gold pear hands, in Royal case with engine-turned back centred by a blank circular cartouche, together with later fitted A. Lange & Söhne presentation box and certificate number 58327, Uhrenmuseum Glashtte certificate and four copies from the registers, case signed by maker, cuvette signed by maker and retailer, dial and movement signed by maker

Lot Essay

The watch with movement and case number 56960 was sold on 16 June 1906 to Frederico Krssmann, Rio de Janeiro. Number 58327 was sold on 28 September 1907, also to Krssmann.

It can therefore be assumed that the movements were changed by Krssmann.
