Signed Longines, Lindbergh model, circa 1930
With gilt-finished jewelled lever movement, hinged cuvette, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals, sweep centre seconds, inner blue chapter ring calibrated for 180 degress, inner revolving gilt dial calibrated for 60 seconds and 15 degrees of arc, set by pulling the winding crown, in circular oversized case with revolving bezel with engraved calibration scales, hinged back, case, cuvette, dial and movement signed

The famous aviator Charles Lindbergh designed this type of watch, which allowed pilots to calculate longitude rapidly.
