Lot Essay

This special edition Royal Oak model was made in a strictly limited edition of 120 examples to celebrate Audemars Piguet's 120th Anniversary in 1995.

To mark the occasion, a new automatic movement was designed, taking into account the perpetual calendar, leap year indicator and 52 weeks display. This hand-assembled automatic movement is the thinnest in the world (2.45 mm).
