Joshua: etching with extensive additions in graphite, 1956, on Arches, a trial proof apart from the edition of 100, with margins, inscribed 'Exortation De Josue' in pencil in the bottom margin, pale time staining; and Isaac---etching with hand-coloring, 1956, on Arches, signed with initials in pencil, numbered 68/100, remains of old paper tape at the reverse of the margin edges, very pale time staining, otherwise both in very good condition
'Joshua': S. 17¾ x 13.1/8 in. (451 x 334 mm.); 'Isaac': S. 21.1/8 x 15¼ in. (217 x 387 mm.)
Includes: Now old, Joshua gathers the Israelites together..; Before dying, the blind Isaac blesses his second son,... (2)
