A finely detailed exhibition standard 50ft:1in. scale waterline model of the Donaldson Line S.S. Athenia
modelled by E.J. Walpole with masts, aerial, rigging, anchors, anchor winch, deck rails, ventilators, derricks, spare anchor, hatch covers, companionways, deck winches, superstructure with bridge and open bridge over with helm and binnacle, deck houses, stayed funnel, with safety valve extension pipe, engine room lights, deck lights, sixteen covered lifeboats in davits and many other details. The hull finished in black and red and mounted on a painted moulded seascape, glazed display case with brass plate -- 6½ x 15¼in. (16.5 x 38.5cm.)

On the Friday one week after the sale, a transfer and administration charge of £17.50 per lot will be payable and a storage charge of £3.00 per lot per day will then come into effect. These charges are payable to Cadogan Tate and are subject to VAT and an insurance surcharge.
