Composed of twin penannular rings decorated throughout with geometric bands of granuation forming a design of lozenges, circa 2nd century
Although smaller in scale this ear ornament is identical in construction with the famous Kronos earrings in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York. They are all part of a small group of Gandharan gold ornaments excavated in insular South East Asia, showing the existing trading networks that existed even at this early date.
