Types: 6:105R, 5:80 R (text); 2:130G, 4:92G, 7:82G, 1:74G, 3:62G* (diagrams). 4- and 12-line white-on-black woodcut initials, a few initial spaces with printed guide letters. 13 full-page woodcut genealogical diagrams. (Title-leaf torn away and restored at upper fore-corner with loss to a few words of table on verso, a8 stained). 17th-century English blind-panelled calf, edges red-speckled (discreetly rebacked, some minor wear).

Third combined edition of Boccaccio's compendium of mythology and his geographical dictionary. The great majority of the books printed by Bonetus Locatellus, a priest from Bergamo, were done so for the publisher Octavianus Scotus; they formed one of the most important partnerships in the Venetian printing industry during the last 20 years of the 15th century.
