With a hinged rectangular top above a conforming case, applied with a band of reeded half poles over a panel applied with whimsical Indian masks, and double hinged key cover above a similarly reeded frieze and similarly decorated casing, with knobbed burl front supports on a conforming naturalistically reeded plinth, on castors, the piano works with serial number 192989--44½in. (113cm.) high, 56in. (142cm.) wide, 24¼in. (61.5cm.) deep; with piano bench en suite--19in. (48.2cm.) high, 30in. (76.2cm.) wide, 14¾in. (37.5cm.) deep (2)
