The thirteenth day of Tibetan New Year is Shai Fo Festival. A very long embroidery of buddhas is placed on the hill under the sunshine. In Chinese word, Shao Fo means suntan the buddha. The Tibetans walk around the hill and try to sense the buddha creating a prosperous and joyful scenario.
