Of orange pottery modelled as a figure with curved notched ridges about the oval body, hands placed on the abdomen, the expressive face with large open mouth above a cylindrical projection, ridged notched conical coiffure with cascade of strands over the back, large looped earrings, on ridged flared base

The Longuda, Cham and Mwana live in small inter-related groups on the Upper Benue near the confluence of the Gongola river. Such vessels are used by their shamans in rituals for healing and to ensure the safety of young and unborn children
