Seven New Guinea shell ornaments
A large earring composed of numerous thin turtle shell cirles bound together at the outer edge with twisted fibre to form a semicircle; a conus shell disc suspended from interlocking woven rattan links; a single circlet of turtleshell with attached white glass beads; a cascade of conus shell and turtle shell circlets, from the Caroline Islands; a New Guinea earring of six turtle shell links; another, similar, larger; and an earring of small shell sections suspending a cluster of mammal's teeth with part of the jaws
