Finely enamelled in iron-red, black and gilt with a gentleman holding a woman's hand with her family looking on and his attendant waiting by a horse and carriage, the reverse with a four-line inscription, all below a band of tasselled beads on the cylindrical neck with everted rim (glaze crack)
