A soapstone tripod incense burner and cover
Circa 1800
Carved from three different coloured stones, the compressed greyish-black globular body carved to one side with a landscape, the reverse with a shaped peony panel, the tripod paw feet headed by dragon's heads, the lobed cover of amber tone, surmounted by a large reddish-brown lion finial (some cracks)
48 cm. high, with wood stand
