Shishen two-character silver-inlaid mark, 18th Century
Cast seated beside a tripod censer atop a rockwork base, one raised knee supporting both hands, one holding a sroll, the loose robe and cowl inlaid with cloud swirls, the hems with scroll bands, the face cast with crisp features, down-cast eyes, smiling expression, flanked by long strands of knotted hair falling over the shoulders, two-character silver-inlaid mark at the back, polished surface patination
