A Dutch colonial hardwood silver-mounted sirihcasket
Apparently unmarked, former Dutch East Indies, late 18th Century
Of rectangular form, on four spreading skirt feet, the corners fitted with floral and plain mounts, swing handles, the simulated lockplate and central plaque on hinged cover with similar decoration, silver hinges, four floral nails to the cover and two at the back
