A Swiss oval enamelled gold snuff-box
Struck with French prestige marks, Geneva circa 1800
The later inset cover plaque painted with three standing warriors and a sitting lady, the surround and outer edge decorated with opalescent beading, blue and green flowerheads and foliage on a dark red guilloché enamel ground, the sides and base similarly decorated, the side panels with portrait medallions between green foliage, in green fish-skin hinged covered case
