the letter signed and inscribed 'My Dear Sir I thank you for your letter and/the way you are working for my good - and/any of the parts of your letter I can read/I will answer - I am busy - trying to finish/Lord Derby Mr Stokes and Mr Shuster before/going to Ireland at the end of the/month - I am pleased you think of the "Blue Hat" I've got the beauty/in front of me now - and I have done/no more like it or better/since. Blue Hats don't/happen every day./I/am ready and willing to give you lessons/when you come back/Mr Vivian I can't/make out any more/of your letter/with all good wishes/Yours sincerely/William Orpen./I have heard no more from C.C.
