Cast after a model by Alfred Barye, one child with legs outstretched, on the back of another crouching child with a tricorn hat at his feet, on an integral naturalistically cast base signed BARYE. Fils, on a later ebonised wood base with gilt heightened canted edges -- 5.1/8in. (13cm.) high, 6in. (15.2cm.) high overall; a Spanish polychrome painted and gilt-heightened terracotta figure of a toreador, first quarter 20th century, 11¾in. (29.8cm.) high; and a polychrome painted terracotta winged cherub's head wall mount, 20th century (3)
