A Japanese cloisonne circular box and hinged cover
decorated in coloured enamels with floral and geometric roundels on a black c-scroll ground -- 4¾in. (12cm.) diam.; and another square box of similar design, the hinged lid with a central panel decorated with a mythical flying beast -- 3½in. (9cm.) wide, 19th Century, (very minor wear).
