A Chinese jade rectangular vase
with everted neck and pierced mythical lion handles, and carved with myhtical beasts amongst foliage and bamboo branches to the sides, on wood stand -- 4.5/8in. (11.8cm.) high; a jade and enamelled hand mirror, the jade handle carved in the form of a mythical beast with its young resting on its stomach, the reverse of the mirror inlaid with a central jade plaque and surrounded by a further band of jade and agate carvings in between archaic motifs -- 9½in. (24.1cm.) long; a pair of bowenite bowls of plain form -- 3¼in. (8.3cm.) diam.;and a coral carving of a mythical bird standing on a rocky base beside a flowering branch, on wood base -- 4¾in. (12.1cm.) high, 18th Century and later, (minor wear).
