A Japanese parquetry and gold lacquered wood rectangular cabinet
with various drawers and different shaped compartments with sliding doors, decorated in gold lacquer and inset in mother-of-pearl with various scenes including a warrior on horseback, birds, flowers, scrolling foliage and geometric pattern, with bronze drop handles and strap mounts incised with flowers and foliage, on a rectangular stand wih cabriole legs -- 47½in. (120.7cm) high, 19th Century, (minor losses, old wear).
