painted and gilt with shaped panels of ladies and dignitaries on terraces and birds and butterflies amongst fruit and flower sprays, the exterior decorated with ladies and dignitaries at leisure -- 9½in. (24cms) diam; a Cantonese pierced oval basket and stand with figures on terraces and in a fenced riverside garden -- the stand 9.3/8in. (23.7cms) wide; and a pair of Cantonese vases with flaring necks, moulded lion handles and guei dragons to the shoulders -- 11.5/8in. (29.5cms) high, 19th century. (5)
