'Souvenir des Ruines d'Angkor', circa 1880s-1890s

A comprehensive album showing the main temple building exterior, interior and details also depicts smaller buildings, several almost obscured by tree roots and foliage. The views including the overgrown foliage suggest that the negatives may have been made earlier before much clearance of the site had occurred.
