Album of thirty-four albumen prints, sizes from 7¾ x 9¼ in. or the reverse to 8¼ x 10¾ in. or the reverse, twenty-one titled in the negatives, fourteen hand-coloured, eight with later printed title labels pasted on to prints, brown half-leather, metal clasp (part missing) 10¾ x 15 in.

Subjects include a castle and temples in Tokio, a woman with a mosquito net, a graveyard, the great bell at Diabutsu, a Buddhist temple at Osaka, a 'coolie' in winter dress, a harbour view of Nagasaki, views of Kumamot castle, a street scene in Gionmati, Yasaka temple, a Korean man with a pipe and walking stick and watergardens.
